Event Information & Policies

• FREE PARKING AVAILABLE AT THE PIER

• PLAYERS THAT ARE OFF WILL BE REFFING AND DOING SCOREBOARD.

• Weather Policy:
  All events are weather permitting. Any cancellations will be posted no later than 9:00 PM the night before the event.
  If weather issues arise during the event, decisions will be made on-site in real time.
  In cases of major weather or beach condition concerns, cancellations may also be posted 24 hours in advance (by 9:00 AM).

• Refund Policy:
  A 24-hour prior (9:00 AM) cancellation notice is required to be eligible for a refund.

• Format:
  All events feature pool play followed by a single elimination bracket.
  Pools will be formed based on the number of teams registered per division. GAMES TO 21 FOR POOL PLAY. BRACKET PLAY WILL BE ONE SET GAME TO 25. CHAMPIONSHIP GAME WILL BE BEST TWO OUT OF THREE.
  The number of teams advancing to bracket play will vary by event, but each team is guaranteed a minimum of 4 games.

• Spectator Conduct:
  All players and spectators must review the Rules Summary.
  Please note that spectators are not allowed to coach during rallies. This includes shouting instructions such as "in," "out," or "over."
  Spectators may not address the officiating team.

  These guidelines are consistent across all beach organizations (avp, fivb, USAV, AAU, JVA, ANP-NEXT) to support athlete development and maintain a fair environment.
